Lucas, Terry, Lucas.

That said Paul may well own a poofteenth slice of the three 888 RECs, depending on what shareholding was purchased in what asset pool.

The minority shareholders in 888 only own ~30%, so nothing happens without Roland Dane's approval.

...and if ypu believe the many unattributed news stories across the web the last few days, prodrive (or whatever its called this week) may have secured a deal to purchase an LDM REC.. which if Mr Munday buys the other one, spells the end for LDM as an entity

What amuses me, is why would Mr Bright willingly take his REC to LDM?

If I were Mr Bright, I'd be looking to park it anywhere else but there. Particularly,if I still wanted to remain relatively competitive next year. I sure as hell wouldn't be hedging my bets on an LDM/PRA tie-up until it actually took place, let alone it being anything but a marriage of convenience.

If the sponsorship remains attached to the Britek REC, could Britek show up as a single car team again?

Short term it seems he wants to continue to have a steer despite being woefully uncompetitive.

It is sad to see someone tarnishing their legacy but perhaps he does not care and maybe I admire him a little for that.

Hardly "hopelessly uncompetitive"! Been in the top ten a fair bit lately and had the 5th best lap of anyone at Sandown last weekend!

There were times when I used to cling to such statistics for childhood hero Dick Johnson.

"He finished Top Ten" I'd tell my friends. "No need for him to retire, he is still competitive". Yet deep down I knew it was over for him. With age might come experience but that sharp edge required to run at the front of the field goes missing.

Top 10 and the occasional quick laps might be okay for the journeyman driver but for men, like Jason, who used to fight it out for the lead on a regular basis it can't disguise the fact that the edge has gone.

Jason deserves a better finish to his career than this but clearly he sees things differently.

so, why is Alex subjected to so much angst.

I don't get it either.

It's not like he's been dropped straight into a front-running team.

Davison Hopeful of Keeping Tekno Seat

Hard to see where else Mr Davison might go if Tekno takes on a different pilot, or is sold/leased to another group.

Codrive with Mr Whincup in #88?

Not angst at all, not from me anyway, but people are wondering how/if Rullo has a contract to run for LDM next year. With this proposed change of ownership, I'm suggesting his contract mightn't be water tight.

Being the phoenix operation that LDM seems to be, it wouldn't surprise me if Mr Rullo's contract was no longer in service.

Why?

He almost won them a championship, as opposed to buying the #1 a year later

I imagine Moffat could land at the Walkinshaw seat vacated by Mr Courtney, assuming the Walkinshaw operation are not enamoured with reuniting with Will "many-race-suits" Davison.

So Courtney to Tekno, Moffat to Walkinshaw, Golding (or Hazelwood) to GRM, Davison to Carrera Cup?
