Speed Demon should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Paul Ricard set for GP?

With Magny-Cours hardly ranking as a fans' or drivers' favourite, could Paul Ricard replace it as host track for the French GP? Bernie Ecclestone already owns the circuit andhas spent a fortune on upgrading it. Olivier Panis gave it the thumbs up last week, describing changes to the circuit as 'incredible'.

So, does anyone know exactly what the changes are (track maps are extremely hard to find of the new Ricard) and how long will it be before the GP switches?

I really hope that the French GP does to go Paul Ricard and that they use the long track and not the small ones used in 1989.

I doubt they would use the long Mistral straight even though that was simply amazing.
but I do like Paul Ricard and always thought it was a great track so I hope that they do go back there, if nothing else it would give Toyota a bit of an advantage

From what I've seen, the track has been 'pussified' even more. There are now two chicanes along the back straight. Give me a break. I'd rather stay at Magny Cours.

How about a move to Le Mans Bugatti. That would be capable of holding a race surely....

The circuit now has no gravel traps but some high friction tarmac which is in lots of different colours! Sounds very cool
