African 6 Hours live stream
Apparently the first time an endurance event has been streamed live over the internet. Ermmmm.... Ok, the first time a South African endurance event has been streamed, maybe. Anyway, good to see. Hope it works.

The stream is up and running, currently showing a meeting from Midvaal Raceway, I think. Good stream quality but no sound at the moment. Hopefully that gets sorted!

The stream has a good quality. The variety of cars in this race is outstanding. But it's very difficult to follow without live timing. The Pilbeam seems to have make good improvements since the last race.

Still racing in this series, according to the article posted above but I guess it won't go much further. Same for the Bailey.

Hopefully this weekend's race will be streamed live.

So I gathered that in the Killarney 3 Hours in June, the Pilbeam P2 only did one lap, and Bailey P2 expired near 2 hour mark. But there has also been 90 minute race at Phakisa since then, however apart from one uninformative article on this series' messy site I cannot find the actual results (not even on mylaps.com), or info on whether or not the two LMP2 open tops were even there.

Meanwhile as most of you know the Kyalami 9 hours has been axed because of the extended revamp times (stupid FIA requirements) and transferred to Killarney, as 9 hour event there.

This is one of the most gorgeous sights in motor racing ever.

According to this list no South African circuits are currently graded. So it will be quite a big deal if Kyalami gets its Grade 2 certification.

Actually, Durban street circuit used to have Grade 2 until A1GP switched it's SA host to Kyalami, and even more especially after Ratel's GTWC didn't go there after all despite promises (shocking I know).

Kyalami had Grade 3 prior this.

It's the season finale at Killarney in Cape Town on Saturday 12 December.
And Jan Lammers will be sharing a Ginetta G55 with Sarel van der Merwe. Nice one!

Has anyone heard if there will be GT3 cars, LMP cars or even GTE cars running in the series in the future? I'm interested to find out what the series is planning for growth as well.
