Well, with Liuzzi confirmed at HRT, the 2011 grid is now full.
http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/89816 So, what do we make of it as a whole? |

Not sure about the historical comparisons; however, I would agree that the overall quality of the grid is very good and even those that are likely to be towards the bottom of any pecking order (such as Karthikeyan and Buemi) have won races at a high level.

Buemi gets alot of stick.
I think he had a good year last season and proved alot of people wrong. I don't think he'll be winning a championship any time soon, but he's a good midfield gunner. Selby |

Sakon's back! (sort of)
http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/90097 I know most people will disagree with this, but I like Yamamoto and have no problem with him being in F1. |

How loaded that guy is thats unreal. Most pay-drivers just come and go, their backers get the pulbicity they wanted (or not) and leave. Sakon is walking around the F1 paddock with a big stack of cash, buying different parttime race-seats, tests, 2nd, 3rd and even 4th reserve seats for the 6th year now. 2005 thats when he bought his first friday with Jordan (the team, not the modell) thats prettty amazing.
I have nothing againts him tho, he is doing precisely what any of us would be doing with so much money, driving fast cars. slow I still cant forget tho that he recorded the 7th fastest lap in arguably the worst car of the season for Brazil 2006. Also he was 2nd fastest of the whole field in the 2nd sector...still dont know where that came from, but keep it coming Sakon |
