I agree

Good move by Aston Martin. I hope they put Kox and Verstappen together. No. 3 could be Turner or Davidson and they'd have a great trio there.

Living in Portugal, it's a shame Ramos is out. They should have gotten ridden of the whiney Primat

www.verstappen.nl reports that Ramos quit himself because he does'nt feel confident about driving in the dark.

now lets hope they can find out why the rear wheels blocked when Jos was driving slower than his fastes lap and did'nt brake later.

It seems it was quite a shunt: 308 KM/h and 15G

Didn't they write one off already in the first accident at Paul Ricard?

I thought the 08 Charouz car went to Speedy...

They had 2 Charouz cars last year, 1 went to Speedy the other was used as a stand in for the Ricard damaged tub at Barcelona, that has since been fixed so now there going to have to use the 08 Charouz tub at Le Mans.

Right, I remember now.

Thanks @NightStalk3r - seems like it's not that big a problem if they've already done it at Barcelona.

Lola must like AMR again after the amount of spares AMR are buying of them.

Are there any differences between the '08 and '09 tubs? Or is it just age and race history?

So if their using the spare '08 tub to rebuild this car, where is the 3rd tub for Le Mans going to come from? I thought they planned to use the 08 tub to build the 3rd car.

If that was the case then why are AMR saying they may have to replace the tub crashed today with the 08 Charouz one?

if (i dont have any facts other than what i read on the forum) AMR has 3x 09 Tubs and 1x 08 tub.
1 of the 09 tubs was crashed before Barcelona so the 08 tub was used.
So AMR raced 2x 09 tubs and 1x 08.
Then the crashed 09 tub was fixed by Lola.
So AMR was racing 3x 09 Tubs.
Now 1 of the 09 Tubs is again crashed so:
AMR will race 2x09 tubs with 1x 08 tub at Le Mans!

The question then is: how will this influence the effort of Aston Martin's LMP1 attack?

Not much!
Peugeot raced an year old Tub last year after the huge crash at the Test day!.
Pescarolo is racing an 1 year tub this year, and that car shouldn't be slower!.
The tub, really doesn't matter that much when it comes to performance, as far as i know!, but Mike might be the best for answering this question!
