Slanted McStruts for camber gain

Hi everyone,

Just wondering if anyone knows of any issues with front struts being slanted inwards, like effects on roll center etc?

As this would create more camber gain from compression and perhaps not overly difficult to do to a track car?

I assume there should be some drawbacks to this otherwise it'd be much more common?

So far I noticed that mostly older BMWs have a slanted front McPherson strut
