How so? Does a bigger car cost more to run per se? Or does it perhaps cost more to make it competitive, engine wise? Does a smaller car handle better than a big one? Cause in another thread, I thought someone mentioned that the BTCC Vectra outhandled the Astra while the Astra was faster? 'Cause weight shouldn't be a problem b/c they run at raceweight and not showroom weight? I'm guessing you're referring to the aerodynamic disadvantages of a larger car then?

Could this be it??? Actually, it isn't a S2000 Accord, but supposedly a ST inspired one by Mugen. Nevertheless, it just shows you that the Accord has so much potential.

yeah but isn't that the reason alot of manufacturs pulled out at the end of 2000 because of lack of funds what was Honda's reason for pulling the Accord out in the first place?

But the cost issue was independent of the size issue? Would ST have lasted any longer if coupes or hatchbacks were allowed to race?
