Ride of your life continues
It comes as no surprise...
Yet again TKR fail to be seen at the sites posted ride days,this latest one for Pukekohe today. For the past 3 years the team has been unable to front up on the day mentioned on their blurb site...  Whats the story this time?

was out at puke today--no one new of any TKR ride days today.did notice a few lost looking people wandering around.

The end of an era?
Or the begining of the end?
I can confirm for you that a high profile former bankrupt team owner has indeed been recently engaged in discussions by the boys in blue.  Local enquiries, which have now extended across the Tasman, relate to alleged fraudulent activities. Among those questioned are former staffers,suppliers and sponsors who have apparently been very forthcoming. As indicated a while back,the past few years of the advertised but not held Hot Laps has also become of some interest. The National Tour posted as starting at Puke with one of the teams awl bleck supercars on Saturday... yet another No Show.  This taxpayer funded enquiry,just what the doctor ordered IMO. No risk of the Blue Line being intimidated by threats or silenced by confidentiality clauses.

Allegedly...A past TKR/IDL "payment schedule agreement" the amount sought being circa $80K...is now time expired...while somewhere in the region of 55% remains overdue IDL on that agreement...Hence the above steps. One wonders how comfortable the current supplier is,assuming they are aware of the history...

The Da$h for Ca$h and No $how road $how continue... The "Back on track update tour" commenced 17th July,having no explainations' on the wondersite re the missed events and with further dates extending "The Tour?" added this week . “TKRs Back on Track Update Tour”… Update
 The latest No Show Road Show having allegedly commenced …17th July at Puke. The wondersite sez… TKR will embark on a 30 plus day tour taking with them one of the teams All Black V8 Supercars along with new 2010 team merchandise that they will have on display and for sale at all venues they visit throughout New Zealand. It continues…TKR will also being doing a number of Hot Laps which the public can book in for At Pukekohe, Christchurch/Ruapuna, Timaru, Invercargill, Palmerston North/ Fielding and Taupo racetracks along with numerous school visits. So Far…No sign of em on the mainland, they definitely didn’t make it to Greymouth. Meanwhile back up North... Manfield Raceway was surprised at today’s Hot Laps enquiry, “Is it posted on David’s website?” was the query. And concludes… “This national tour also gives us the opportunity to give back something to the supporters who have stuck with us through thick and thin of which is much appreciated” said David John. *Further dates will be posted along with final venues and times shortly. *To book Hot Laps at venues we are visiting on the tour being Pukekohe, Ruapuna, Timaru, Invercargill, Fielding, Taupo simply call David John. ...Confirming Intentions?Gunna John...Demonstrating his support for loyal fans?

Still peddling the ol' Falcon Raffle Car? The wondersite said Manawatu for Sunday, he musta got lost. I quess that means no charm for the folks at Hawera today. "Tour", Loyal fans , posted venues... ... futher dates "coming shortly" ...Wazzup,can't stick to your own itinerary? A spelling error?...Taranaki/Takanini... Nah...simply more hogwash IMO! |

You know, if you had to boil down to a single reason why TKR/David Johns is so so interesting, it's the stuff like this... Big, bold statement on the website, then zero follow through... no explanation... nothing.
It'd be superb television because you just know never quite know what will happen next. |
