It’s easy to get those two mixed up, but it’s easier to them apart when you know how to

[QUOTE][/You might be fairly devious with your picture puzzles Baub, but I won't be beaten on this one. QUOTE]
Isn't it sad the lenghts some people will go to, just because they don't know the answer! If I had used a picture of a genine PORPOISE, it would have been too easy, so I threw in a 'wobbly', and you fell for it big time. No one else has got it wrong. (Of course no one has got ti right either) Just a further note; Anyone can submit there own puzzle, teaser, quiz, whatever. all are welcome, I do appreciate Griff's contributions to the fun, and his obcure replies that challenge ones reasoning powers, |

Ah - that may be because you used a modern plastic bottle in your first image, which is not the same shape as the glass bottles.
Now you have shown the glass bottle alongside a red ferrari - it's obvious that you are alluding to a car that is connected to red and coca cola bottles. The link between cars and coca cola must relate to Raymond Loewy, the designer of the Shell, Exxon, TWA and the former BP logos, the Greyhound Scenicruiser bus, Coca-Cola vending machines and bottle redesign, the Lucky Strike package, Coldspot refrigerators, the Studebaker Avanti and Champion, and the Air Force One livery. When you realise his original concept sketch for the Avanti was in red - you have the answer. The Studebaker Avant: |

I norice that the number of views continues to rise, but the flow of answers is almost non-existent. Are these puzzlws too osbcure/oblique/complicated or childish for people?
Perhaps the time to wind-up the thread has come, as it does take up time, and involves a certaion amount of research. Thanks to all who did take part, it was fun while it lasted. |

MGA surely.
Re the Dear Bros (A35?) van, there was an MG garage that was called Dear Bros in West Moors Village. The owner Geoff Dear died in 1964, but he raced MG's and owned this garage for quite some time prior. A hint of a Ford Prefect 100E tail light in the background. Not even an glimmer of an idea on the race car in the foreground. (with the photographer's Father sat in. |
