Forget the driver line ups this one is the best, Cox and watson know how to make a touring car race sound superb and make Walker and Brundle sound like dull...Whatever your paying them BBC it ain't enough!!
Please pay your respects to Cox and Watson below.... |

John Watson and Charlie Cox are an excellent commentary team, especially Charlie Cox. He reminds me a lot of Martin Brundle in the way he's able to make some very wry comments about race incidents.
I don't know about making Murray and Martin sound dull, but they're definitely a lot better than many sports commentary teams. |

if u know how 2 get the pictures on i wouldn't mind seein them.your right about the camera angles.the main 1 was well far away and you only saw half of the crash cos the car went behind the trees.and the onboard cameras of the drivers behind were rather pants too.

Starts to slide
How it landed After driver removed As I recall the second pic was taken just as the car had come to a halt. The half open door is not because Cox has got out already. Notice how EVERY panel is bent, including a rather large dent in the roof. |

Cox and Watson are probably the best duo in the biz, Cox is just insane in relating the exciting action as if he was riding in the car first hand, and delivers it in a high-paced fast talking style. Watson doesn't pull any punches and tell it like it is whenever an oaf pulls a dumb move

I remember when John Watson used to commentate F1 on Eurosport. He's a great commentator alright, he "tells it like it is", that's true.

I took a friend who'd never really been into Touring Cars before to Silverstone last year. We approached Charlie for his autograph and then i said to him-'i've just been telling him (my friend) about your crash in '95'. To which he replied-'tell me about it-i've still got the headache!' Top bloke.
