Jamesy-18 should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Wonder if Motorbase will be running 2 or 3 cars this year? Oh, and when's the media day again?

Interesting...

http://www.racecarsdirect.com/listin...ring_Cars.html

plus slightly confusing:
I thought thorney had bought these, yet 'ramsport' have them for sale
They were only sold the other month on a different site

Any ideas anyone?

It could be that as Thorney Motorsport have said, they won't be out in the BTCC now, they have passed them onto 'Ramsport'?

Media day is the 23rd of March at Brands.

From what I've seen Motorbase look likely to be running two cars - but it's still all waiting budget signoff.

Didn't think we'd see Collard switch to WSR. Interesting to note he says it was too good an opportunity to miss. I always got the impression him and Motorbase were quite well knit together.

If they get Turkington as well, they will have an awesome driver lineup.

I imagine that was probably the deal... Collard and Neate bring enough walla to run Turkington in the third car.

I hope WSR have got the money to put Colin in a car, the series would really miss him if he wasn't there. I'm glad Collards there as well, he's a good driver and should be interesting to see him in the top BMW team.

He's annoyed Bartrum though. http://www.touringcartimes.com/article.php?id=4495
Sounds promising from Motorbase though, sounds like they've got some good sponsorship now.

Wowzas, didn't see that one coming! Quite a suprise. I question as to whether WSR DO have the budget to run 3 cars for a whole season. Without RAC anymore, I'm not so sure. Never the less, they have a great line-up already in Neate and Collard. Wouldn't be suprised if CT did go to Motorbase! :P

More evidence of the Dynamics/Honda tie-up. Matt Neal's sunstrip at Brands today:

Let's just hope it's not another case of Honda buying B.A.R. Can Dynamics afford to get much worse at the moment? :P

WSR don't have the budget to run a single car yet! However, they do have about £500k from Collard to run him in a BMW and a similar amount from Mr Neate and sponsors....let's hope that between them the Turkingtons and WSR can put together enough money to run Colin too!

He won't go to Motorbase that's for sure! Although I suspect we will see that as a breaking news story "rumour" on your website within a few hours...

I think they've previously announced it'll be black and white. Seems somebody forgot that we've all got colour TVs these days.

Alfa Fan and Aunt Sally, you have gotten your Jameses confused. James Mappin is the one who has the website and posts strange rumors on it, not Jamesy-18.

Carry on.

This is assuming Turkington wants to do the BTCC this year....

Last year could have been good for Dynamics had they not waviered around with James Thompson and signed him in Dec 08 after the test.
