In terms of the races, they were certainly action packed! Not 100% convinced about the stewards work for the most part - ridiculous penalty for Norbi in race 1, yet a lot of much more 'interesting' stuff went seemingly unseen. As for letting D'Aste drive an entire race with an open door, that seems ludicrous to me. A potential danger to the driver, a potential danger to other cars and a potential danger to people around the trackside. They pull people in for a but of flapping bumper, but not a whole door?

All in all though, some good action and some great results for Huffy!
Meanwhile in America.

They were told to come in and fix the door, so they just pulled them off and kept going, ended up finishing the race too.

It's British Eurosport 1 HD now rather than a separate international channel so they should be running the same schedule. I sisn't even think to check that.

Totally agree, Menu's reaction after the second race was priceless even leaving his trophy behind. Had it been BTCC Muller probably would have got a fine and points just to keep the championship alive, WTCC is much more consistent

Very true, even though WTCC has a long way to go still, I belive Michelisz's race 1 DT left many people scratching their heads.

At first this season, the Chevy dominance was quite boring. Now it's a very enjoyable battle where anything can happen. Yvan's french rudeness in the interview after race 1 was very unnecessary. He lost a lot of points and was unhappy, for sure. Still not an excuse to talk like that. But he really screwed up his championship hopes all on his own in race 2. Not a worthy champion after his behaviour this weekend.

Uh, lol. Anyone knows the full story behind this livery?

Sucks for Cerqui either way, he wasn't so bad for a first season.

Wasn't too good either. I for sure expected him to be better, being Superstar V8 champion and all.

Here's why.

Either way, the livery is rather creepy. I mean I like some of the crazy liveries you get out of Japan (Even the Anime/Manga influenced ones) but is touring car racing really the place for having photographs of j-pop stars on the car?
