What do you really think, about next years touring car reg's?
What would you change? i would have: bigger wheels more work's teams maybe a 300 bhp engine rather than 280/290?bhp (renault had a 300 bhp in err..'94 i think!) 3 races at each meeting / split the classes into 6 races eg: touring class 3 races production class 3 races. |

My BTCC
My BTCC Regs go like this:
18" wheels Wider Slick tyres Neutral rear wings (for looks only) 2.5 litre 4-6 cylinder engines (about 380BHP) Tiny brakes (4-pot) centre mounted exhausts (which must spit lots of flame) have a no limit ride height (could run ultra low and we could see spays of sparks like the pre-94 F1 cars) Oh and must be rear wheel drive! |

A s long as we get good racing back-last years btcc was poor, despite the close finale and close racing, with 10 cars and a couple of production cars the btcc could not survive. Grids of 20+ are required-the new format looks good, has attracted entries, and will attract more.

No need to hope for it, it's already happened. It's called the DTM.
