A batch from the CSCC Special saloons and modsports on Sunday at the Wendy Wools Anniversary meeting. 21 entries which was nice to see.

That was Sunday - bit drier than Satrurday . Another excellent weekend from CSCC and a treat to see Mega Bertha's second ever appearance .

In the paddock I was much taken with the exquisite D suffix 911, which makes it a 1966 model . Hub caps already ...

The Rover SD1 with what seemed to be a Merlin V12 also caught my eye.

The original (Cavalier based) Mega Bertha was for sale as a project last year. Hopefully the car pictured is it the restored car.

This is the same car restored just before the FOS this year by Ric Wood, speaking to Ric on Sunday he said the car is still not fully sorted for racing but when it is he said it should be quick. He only took part in the first of 2 races on Sunday and at lunchtime both Baby Bertha and Mega Bertha were parked on the startline for all to see.

With regards the Rover I believe it was a 27 litre tank engine !!!!

Great pics! What’s not to like about those two......

Except maybe finding a trailer wide enough to carry Mega-B.
