One of them's mine

Weekend includes three "night" races - one on Saturday, two on Sunday, so it'll be a big ask for the marshals.......We're not doing the night race so I could volunteer to marshal on the Saturday night, I guess......

I’m in the Mag 7s race on the Sunday, Richard. Not doing the night races either.

Scheduled to finish at 20:00, I think, and dark from about 17:30.

Hope you'll have fun both of you at least. Andy you'll be at home… I now adopt your wife's requirement, each time I put my HANS device I have a spare thought for you!

Same forecast for your area here, 10° C only, few showers on Sat, Sunday should be clean, some late showers. I guess you have no hard or soft top on your Caterham…

I see… May be you could trade your French style tonneau cover with an English one! Or move the steering wheel from right to left. Or did your supplier played a "Coup de Trafalgar" to a nice Caterham owner?

Yeah - looking like light rain forecast for most of Saturday for us......Which actually may work OK for us as it tends to more adversely affect the more powerful cars - last time I raced there in the wet we finished fairly well as a number of the horshoes fell off on the slippery circuit........

Probably cast a spell on us, now, as I'm very rusty behind the wheel as we've had to withdraw from last two race outings after qualy with clutch issues......

Arrived and scrutineered, hoping the car doesn't blow away overnight - there was somebody's patio chair doing about 20mph across the paddock until it hit a trailer....

Currently looking like heavy rain for our morning qualifying, but maybe easing for our early afternoon race. Could be dry for Saturday's night race, and Sunday is looking good...

I have a couple of spare tickets if anyone wants them - text me on 07976 384980

Sadly it's a wet and dreary day here today.

A couple of hours ago it must have been almost dark enough to be used as practice for the night race.

Looking marginally brighter now but still wet and dull and chilly.

Sadly the forecast seems to suggest it pretty much stays like this for the day and into the night.

Stay safe and keep as warm as you can everyone.

Agreed. I hope the CSCC marshals goody bag, entry into the free BTCC tickets (i think) draw and tonights hog roast are compensation enough!

Looks like a nice evening now. Pleasant sunset - as the commentator is observing.

Getting a bit nippy though.

Typical that the clouds clear just in time to let the day's heat, what there was of it, escape.
