HSCC - May 12th Silverstone

I was in conversation last night with Clerk John Smith, who told me that this meeting is on Silverstones International Circuit. Wow, wish I could be at Abbey, instead of Race Control.

Would not worry about it too much Dave, you do have the monitors in Race Control to watch.......

Fantastic, can't wait. I managed to talk myself into working, but I've only got to cover one race "officially" then I can do as I please.

I've just got back from Silverstone, I was in the FFord no.89, (& had a great time!) and would like to thank everyone for marshalling today. At least the weather wasn't TOO bad for you. Cheers!

A brilliant day today. Full grids, good racing, even had a spectacular roller at Becketts/Ireland. As usual HSCC never disappoints.

Having had a great day I am sure I speak for the other drivers as well when I return the compliment!
I was one of the little sportsracers in Guards trophy and it was excellant - even ran ahead of schedule!!

I would also like to thank all the marshals.
It was great to have enough to man the circuit and it certainly made my job easier.
OK, I did start to walk round the circuit, but gave up due to the rain and got a lift back with the Clerk. As normal I did Dep Chief Flag in the afternoon.
Just to make up for not getting too wet on Saturday, I got well and truly rained on at Mallory.

Hopefully I will see you all at the Classic. If anyone has not volunteered and would like to do so, please PM me.
