Javi should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Callaway

I donĀ“t know if this has been discussed before (suppose that yes, but...). Does anyone know what happened to the C12 Callaway that qualified on pole for the 2001 (GT) Le mans race? I read that they were on the pre-list for 2002 but they (why??) were thrown back...
What happened to the car? It was quick, but the memory on me is because it was so so so quiet.., no noise, opposing the roaring C5R corvettes...

The Aspen Knolls MCR group ran out of money to run the car.

PTG, (yes the BMW people), then began work on prepping the car with mind to race it at LM in 02'. They were told that not entering at Sebring would not prevent them from getting an entry at LM. When LM entry was posted, they were not on it, apparently being told that they hadn't raced the car, or something to that affect.

Since then.... nothing.

slicktsax has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
yeah i'm curious to what happened to that car. too bad no thoer team purchased the Callaway C12-R as it was a fast car and neat looking car. with a little more development it would have been a winner. is Callaway even making street C12's anymore?
