I feel like Opel is unlikely. But Opel is part of Stellantis. So is Peugeot. And Peugeot use a V6, a six cylinder powerplant, in their Hypercar. Is that engine production-based though?

No. Surely it's a VW/Audi engine, or an AMG V6

Not necessarily.
Remember who makes up Stellaris,... The French (Peugeot, Citroen), the Italians,(FIAT, Ferrari, Alfa Romeo, Maserati) and, of course, the Americans (Chrysler). The best supplier for engines would be the ones that sell their autos in the USA, so as to compete in the IMSA-half of the LMH/LMDh competition. Thus, the Italians. It all goes back to the rules, as they were written by IMSA, as they were different to what was by ACO and the WEC. |

They'll probably wait until after Le Mans next year, so as to see how the new cars are doing on the track. By mid year, just after the race, and how they are running, expect them to make an announcement, declaring them building a car to enter both series' and vie for honors in '24.

Interesting! I too feel '23 might feel a bit optimistic, but we'll see. Maybe they'll surprise us.
Love how the future of Le Mans is shaping up with these big manufacturers battling some smaller outfits like this, Glickenhaus and hopefully the Vanwell (or whatever they end up calling it, I just hope it makes it to the track). |

WRT have ruled out any relationship with Lambo going forward. I don't think that's too much of a surprise - it seems like BMW or bust for them at the moment. But Vosse says plans needs sorting out in the next few weeks. |

Love the look of it. Bamber is the right man to do the development for it

The Acura has had a run at Many Cours.
Cadillac and Porsche due to test at Sebring at the end of the month. https://racer.com/2022/07/11/imsa-gt...-gaining-pace/ |

Also they mentioned that both the Cadillac and Acura are going to be using updated versions of their current engines. I've got no problem with that it'll be good sound variety. sent during haircut |

While the Porsche doesn't sound quite as bad as I thought it might, we've really got to be thankful for Cadillac and that noise!

Absolutely. If BMW's recent GT cars are any indication then the M Hybrid V8 will be whispering around too.
What will Lambo do... |

Really cool to see the Caddy on track too. Doesn't quite match the initially offered renders, but it still maintains a unique shape. The sidepod sculpting is great. Running into the dusk with no headlights is an interesting choice, but loved seeing the glowing exhausts. |

Interesting aero over the rear wheels with Caddy, wings inside the wheel over the inner fenders. Didn't see that in renders and hard to see from front

I would love a yellow version with a Chevrolet Corvette badge running under the Corvette Racing banner at Le Mans 2023.

The Caddy will look more like the renders with front lights fitted. You can see the shape of them under the disguise wrap.
