that was a straight copy/paste job from the FIA GT website, and they didn't mention the Monaro, so until the practice times get pinned up on the website then we won't know...
from the British GT website - Ryan Hooker is partnering Matt Griffin for the Magny-Cours race in the Monaro. |

Nice to see the GPLK C5R at the top of the time sheets. A sign of things to come?

They should slow down a bit in free practice, or the ballast bogeyman will be after them !!!!

I will go to Magny-Cours with my digital sound recorder (especially for Maseratis sound ). The race will good to follow, with extra weights for Maseratis and Larbre (20 to 30kgs).

Great pics!
The Reiter Lambo is a visually stunning race car. And it posted another decent time. It would be nice to see this car gather some more pace. |

second session now complete... definitely a slower session than the morning. great to have two Saleens firmly in the top-ten (most notably the Graham Nash Saleen in 4th position!), as well as Reiter in third with the Lambo. the GLPK vette as well as the Maseratis seems to have slipped down the order, most likely concentrating on race-setup now... not suprising to see Russian Age at the top.
also, those GruppeM cars are absolute freaks of nature... they are just running away in the GT2 category. |

Russian Age Ferrari 550 on top so far, then 2 Maseratis and then the GPLK C5R then 2 more Maseratis with the Lambourgini right behind them. Who said FIA GT was going to be a MC12 white wash this year? Interestingly to note too that the cars at the moment are just 4 tenths off last years pole, even with the new ACO rules. Lets hope theres more to come in the PM session.

only car that improved was the Konrad Saleen. Its up to 12th now. In the morning session, they were only on 6 cylinders , but now they got everything working for the 2nd session.
I am praying that Eurosport will again provide the live video feed. Usually, they turn it on Saturday, but it wasnt on at all today. so im getting a little worried. |

I can only see LIVE audio, and no LIVE video. Shame as my friend from Canada wants to watch. Lucky for me then that its on Eurosport 2.

On German Eurosport they just had Philipp Peter commenting on an onboard lap and when he came out of the Adelaide hairpin he said "you can hear the traction control a bit here". TC? I thought that was a nogo in FIA GT?

I just tuned over to the FIA GT race after watching the first WSR race, and see that the field is under caution - what's happened?

Nevermind, the Eurosport2 commentary just summed it up.
