I would be surprised if full time race engineers in mid to low pack teams are earning much more than 100k full time.

With the amount of LONG Hours and Travel you are putting in, 100K would seem rather pitance to be honest. A basic construction engineer can earn "on average" ~150K per year doing a 38 hour week

EDIT:
Not as much fun as Engineering a Car and Im sure the stress levels off the radar

They don't get paid what you would expect especially given the hours and travel but the $100k is more aligned with Umai Naa's suggestion.

Also detailed is Erebus’s bold plan to become a genuine two-car force, targeting a big step-up by de Pasquale – who starred as a rookie last year – to join Reynolds at the front of the field.

A lot of businesses exclusively supplied to Masters back in the day, removing product from a difficult Bunnings. Funny how when that business fell over, they came running back to Bunnings and had to take the trading terms/pricing/margin strategy they were given...

Some never made it back.

Weber bbqs apparently have little interest in returning.

Wattyl paints were removed from Bunnings shelves within 24 hours of Wattyl agreeing to supply Masters. Their industrial and trade sales outweigh retail sales, so maybe no interest in returning.

Otter Nails pretty much went belly up thanks to leaving Bunnings. Owners son got sick of being screwed on wholesale prices by Bunnings. Masters offered a fatter margin for exclusive rights.
Sale volumes plummeted within weeks and Masters payed 60-90 days eom. Liquidation and a buy out from Airco resulted.

Given how Irwin have destroyed quality brands like Vicegrip and Record Marples. Their cheap copies of once popular tools are a perfect fit for a warehouse....
