EE seems to still be trying to deal with the ACO to see if their second car (which is also at the track, but in the hauler) can be let in if someone withdraws.

I think they might also try and get all six of their drivers in the single car just to qualify, in case.

They talked about that they would get the place if someone crashes out, so they are a backup, and to make sure that all drivers get the 10 laps, they take all 6 out i 1 car. So they are sure that they CAN race, if they are allowed!

The 3 reserve drivers are all on the list . Gounon-Johansson-Nakano . They dont have to pre-qualify .

On this point, I don't recall them breaking the rule before. They've had occasions where they could have done it in the past - but, point taken.....

Yeah ..... like your not supposed to be able to change chassis numbers either . They let the IMSA car do it years ago , and only let the JLOC car do it last year under protest from JLOC team .

They've done that plenty of times - usually for French teams like Peugeot back in 93 (?) when it was stuffed by Alliot.

But thats the same car in the same team. I don't see the ACO allowing another new car into the list.

Why not ..... if the reserve team is prepared , and dont mind the short notice , which certainly seems to be the case with 6 drivers on tap . Cant see any other reason ?

But , as we have seen before , the ACO suit themselves .

There is no reason why - and I'd welcome a full grid if it's achievable - what I'm saying is that the ACO haven't allowed this to happen in the past......
