I'll be there for both days and hopefully doing my upgrade assessments too, so I am definitely looking forward to it.

The day I did up at Oulton last year was a great club day run by a club that treats the marshals well, so I am looking forward to supporting the MGCC again this year.

I'm there too, may even camp over if weather looks good. This was a cracking meeting last year.

Doesn't look like the weather is going to be all that cleaver again this weekend, I think we all know who to blame for it, Right Dave?

so far the seaweed says precipitation probability is lower than last weekend's was at this time

I didn't say it wouldn't rain, just that hopefully it wouldn't be as heavy or prolonged ....

but who cares, still should be a cracking (long) weekend

I have to say that I am appalled by this comment. All clubs have trouble recruiting sufficient marshals for their meetings, and to go on a Thread about another club's/circuit's meeting suggesting that there is a better alternative elsewhere helps nobody. I have known John Smith for many years, and I cannot believe that he would countenance this type of behaviour. Perhaps I and others involved in race meetings elsewhere this weekend should have gone on the 360 thread encouraging marshals to come to our meetings instead! I, like many others, think the calendar is too crowded, but we have to make it work as best we can.

As I have said, I have known John, as well as Terri & Grant, for many years and have the greatest respect for all of them, ditto Claire although I do not know her very well. I hope their meeting this weekend is a great success as are the others taking place around the UK this weekend. NUFF SAID

What a good weekend on Post5. Interesting fields Close, clean racing by everyone and most importantly of all, given the foul weather, a cheery thank you from every driver on their slowing down laps.

Thanks to MGCC and Look forward to seeing you again later on the year...

another wet weekend at Brands Hatch.....

MGCC again provided some great racing over the weekend and a big thanks to the team on P4 for their company plus all their work over the two days and particularly with today's incident.

cheers folks

see you around (for some that could be as soon as tomorrow for the Bank Holiday Monday CSCC meeting)

Any pics.

Thoroughbreds was fun while it lasted (the first one), second on Sunday, bit of a waste of time.

An absolutely cracking weekend at Brands as I am sure it will have been elsewhere. We all enjoy our sport and lets enjoy it where and when we can. Thanks to the great team I worked with P5 on Sat/Sun in the wet and a dry P4 for the CSCC on Monday. Fantastic club racing.

I have apologised to Peter personally and I now do so publically. We don't need any sort of ill feeling to perpetuate and the original post was made without reference to myself, Claire Smith or 360MRC. It may have been made in jest but was capable of being misunderstood and I'm sorry. I spent many years on the bank at Brands Hatch, I have nothing but fond memories of the circuit and still have many friends there. I hope this apology will draw a line under this unfortunate misunderstanding.
