Looked like that's BARELY in bounds to me, I doubt I could argue either way there. Call it legal with watch it warning, call it unsafe and penalty. I think that maybe meeting with the team and warning that next time it's debatable you're getting dinged wouldn't be the worse play

Speaking of naughty, was Jarvis at fault for Andrew's off?
FCY either way. I bet CGR can't believe their luck with the way both Acuras have fallen away from them. |

Well it appears IMSA didn't like MSR at least once earlier, warned for the 10 incident. Warning I would say warranted but frankly warn both that you wreck the other and you'll get to visit pit lane. Both made a move that was not likely to do anything good and what happened may have been the best outcome

I think there was a glancing blow but it was caused by Andrews moving back into the space he'd created. Probably had no idea Jarvis was there. I think Jarvis would be unlucky to get pinged for that particular one.

The natural order has been restored - #60 leapfrogs everyone in the pits, #10 second.
Let's see how MSR screw it up this time. To be clear, I hope they don't, but recent results say otherwise. |

Bamber goes into Taylor. I wouldn't call that myself.
It should mean that there's little else to get in the way of Jarvis winning the race. Edit - Overhead shot isn't kind to Bamber. Penalty in 3 ... 2 ... 1 ... |

I'm not sure it would be called that way if it was 10 on 02 but OK...
Bamber isn't called Taylor of course |

So, contrary to the recent run of form, the "which Acura stuffs it up more" competition has been resoundingly won by WTR this race.
Went up the inside of Derani in a low-percentage move, came off worse. |

I'm not a fan of that, Taylor gets away with it because came off worse. The intent matters as much as the result.

No action on #10....
Frankly, IMSA race control is not doing itself any favours regarding its credibility... But of course, if you're named Taylor you are allowed a little bit more. Time and time again ...... |

I spoke too soon - Van der Zande gets past Jarvis.

Like Jarvis was carrying a load of anchors, wasn't even a challenge there, inside outside and gone for Renger

#60 just does not have the straight line speed.
They really need to take a look at their car setup. It seems to work great when in free air, but not when they are stuck in traffic or battling with other DPI cards |

Great job showing us the ending of each class but zero effort made to show the DPi run to the flag for 2-5, the only battle going hard. |

Cadillacs did a lot better in race conditions than during qualifying, actually very competitive. I didn't expect that However, as totally expected, #60 couldn't hold on to the lead As Hindy said, Jarvis just left the door open, no defense there at all.
You mean that side contact with Derani? I think Taylor already penalised himself for that one by crashing into the wall. Nothing happened to #31 so no penalty. |

The Cadillacs seem to have got their act together, at least in the race. Still a bit of a way for them to go. Acura could have put up more of a fight though. Jarvis made it too easy for them
I think the Taylor/Derani incident was a racing incident, which Derani did well to continue. Don't think it really needed a punishment |

Ouch, Mosport was almost the least watched race over the weekend and it lost little over half the Indy viewers that preceded it. 420k for IMSA, 870. Cup 2 mill, F1 1.25mil, SRX almost drew million itself. But not that unexpected if we're honest
