Air Jack .... advice wanted

Having recently bought an ex BTCC car fitted with AP air jacks I am looking for an economical way of supplying air. I would like to be able to fill a storage receptical of some sort possibly a diving bottle or industrial gas bottle to about 300 bar.

Any advice would be appreciated on the following.

Building a high pressure compressor.

Storage bottle / regulator opptions.

Any related hint or tips most welcome.

300 bar?! Are you trying to put the car into orbit? 40 bar should be enough to get any car under 1500 kg off the ground. Paoli do air compressors (petrol and electric) that could fill a bottle. However the gas (whether you use air or nitrogen) to lift the car is very small so it's probably not too expensive to have a bottle with you at all times from the local welding/gas place.

Any 50 bar reg will be fine; the air requirements are that small I can't imagine a cheap reg would really effect lift time. If your just using it for practice/testing etc get a tap that fits on the end of the spike so it doesnt deafen everyone within 50 feet when you drop it.
