I was going to comment that I can't see any of them that you have put on
Were they uploaded on "advanced" from your PC or from a host ?

It looked spectacular, but I suspect it was just an oil fire, as it was out by the time he stopped, so probably not much damage.

Interesting little car that - outwardly a more or less original Mk1 Mexico, but under the bonnet, several litres of TVR's finest!

For some reason when you click on to that picture it shows as image 2 of 2 - there is no image 1!

Agreed, I've also seen a few of the foam filter types do a fair bit of damage after the engine has "spit back"
Is that the Escort that used to run in the Heritage GT challenge a few years back, run by Steve & co from Top Gear ?

It has 'J Clarkson' on the rear quarter windows and a Top Gear sticker on the rear end so I'd assume so. Nice car

Didn't it also appear (win?) in the second 360 MRC 6hour race?

From memory, there were two Escorts built in the same spec - one green and one orange. I seem to think it was the orange one that won the 2011 360.

Didn't know that 2 had been built, but it was the Orange one at Snetterton.

Great to see the classics out on track again at Speedfest. They were the best thing about the show last year (in my opinion ) and the best thing about it this year as well. Shame there were no Can-Am cars this year, but the Formula 5000 cars made up for it!

Handful of pictures here:
