Hungaroring Recovery

Can anyone tell me more about this one please??

I speak of the F1 recovery that occurred early race, drivers right near the Bridgestone Bridge.

The car was not particularly safe...but then a recovery veh or FIV of some sort seemed to be there as well for a number of laps and obviously (?) reverse-towed it back around the track to a safe position (?)

I'm not a huge fan of the safety car but this recovery probably should have been covered by one (?).

What do others think??

PS well done to the Marshal on Blue at the start of the straight...impossible to say "I didn't see it!" - lovely big slow up and downs - classic!!
