SL should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid

It is getting time to replace my Nissan 200SX. To be honest apart from another 200SX I am at loss to know what to buy. Budget is in the £16,000 - 18,000 mark assuming a good trade in.

The latest MR2 looks good, a little slow but generaly good. Does anyone have any info about these cars ? luggage space looks minimal any real life examples ?

I am looking for a very fast 0 - 60, room for at least one suitcase, at least 2 seats and a roof (no 7's).

Any Elise or sport Vauxhaul owners ??? Any Honda 2000's Are they worth the extra ???

I haven't driven one yet, but i have sat in one. I would find it almost impossible to drive as my knees were hitting the steering wheel if I tried to use the pedals.

Personally, I don't see what's wrong with the new 200SX/Silvia.

New 200SX is very appealing, excellent SR20DET engine, rear wheel drive, classic sports car layout and new S15 model finally looks as good as it goes.

I've seen a few of the new MR 2, it does look wery good indeed, not as 'Poor mans Boxter' as it looks in pictures- but I've not yet seen one out in the rain...
Also, have a look at http://www.quantumcars.co.uk, their H4 could fit the bill nicely.

Thanks for feedback,

Checking on the net the Aussie 200SX is the new version unfortunatly I live in UK and get the old version. Guess I will have to wait for Nissan to intro into the UK.

In the meantime test drive of MR2 is sked for Sunday 13:00, so stay off the roads near Horsham UK
