Vale Jamey Blaikie

Story here: http://www.speedcafe.com/2014/12/09/vale-jamey-blaikie/

A really great guy who truly loved motorsport - the list of people quoted in the linked story should give you some idea on the positive impact he had on the sport here in Oz.

Gone far too soon after a road accident in Fiji - where he has been going each year for a while now doing charity work for poor communities - that's the kind of guy he was.

RIP Jamey - a true friend.

Dreadful dreadful news Tourer

This sad event, the accident with cricketer Phil Hughes, and injuries to Jules Bianchi, should encourage us to cherish what we have, cherish who we have in our lives, and the things that we take pleasure in.

Some people like to build a 'bucket list' as a means to crystallise the things they want to do before they get too old, too scared, too poor to do them.

Others like the idea of a 'nectar list'... as a means to crystallise all the things in your world right now that make you want to get out of bed every day. The 'nectar of existence' helps you be thankful for what you have.

We are fortunate to have a common interest in motorsport on here, we are fortunate to have found a bunch of like minded vegemites that like to share their thoughts and feelings and passions about the sport, built on what it means to each and every one of us.

Be thankful for that, if nothing else..
