Bradley Jones to replace Allan mcNish

it seems as if allan Mcnish may not start the race of 1000 years because of the injury he sustained to his back after lifting luggage or taking off his kilt of whatever it was..

former Audi super touring car driver Brad jones will take to the streets today to get some laps just in case he is needed...Brad is from my home town of albury and has been a super touring champion twice (I think) in an Audi A4 quattro..he has also been a 5 times Auscar champion (Our nascar) as well as the Asutralian Nascar champion and a former GTP champion in a Lotus.

this year Brad took on the world of V8 supercars with his own team and has had an up and down year..and interestingly enough his last time at this circuit was earlier this year in a V8 supercar and he unfortunately found out how tough this place his when a slight mistake sent him spinning down the track upside down..destroying the car but unjuring himself.

Brad is held in high asteem by the Audi factory thanks to his super touring days ..when at one point he was the only driver in the world winning in an Audi.

he will step into the car this afternoon to see how he goes after flying from albury to adelaide this morning..
