Did you see what Huff did in race 1? He said slipstreaming gave him and extra 15kph...the video is online and it is just fantastic to watch.

Can we get rid of these idiotic stewards please? I doubt any of them have raced in their miserable, boring lives. "Racing?! How dare you!"

Yes. I also saw what Huff did in race 2. Couldn't overtake Tarquini even with slipstream and 100% of power.

Ridiculous, have the stewards ever watched a tin top race before?

Think it was warranted for Girolami. Seemed to be jinking a fair bit from what I've seen, which you really shouldn't be doing at that speed!

I have raced many times on the Nordschleife, at speeds of 170mph the car is pretty unstable once you pull out of the tow and get the side draught...it was not poor driving standards in any way.

Exactly. What we saw on the Dottinger Hohe was no different from what happens in oval racing on a regular basis.

100% power in Hyundai is not equal to 100% power in Golf, also 97,5% in i30 is not equal to 100% in Golf... also aero makes big difference, you can see it comparing i30 and Veloster, cars with exactly same engine, only with aero difference...

Hyundai say they could withdraw from the 2020 World Touring Car Cup

After all rivers they cried, now this.
Truth to be told almost every manufacturer is full manufacturer supported, not only Lynk. Only Alfa has 0 support and they should be first to protest.

Also about BoP, it was so hard that Michelisz won by 4 seconds...

And about "customers aren't happy about BoP".

Well if you are best driver and you race in WTCR and you have close races with all cars, then you should think who is driving your cars in other championships, not blaming BoP.

Only truth he said is about Peugeot, and yet all Briches wins in TCR Europe are from reverse grid, and Hyundai took two poles this year. I agree that BoP is too light for Peugeot, and yet they couldn't catch Hyundais at Hungaroring and Hockenheimring.

I think the Lynk and Co program does seem to be blurring the lines a bit more than the rest of the teams though. More importantly though the issue of not allowing other teams to purchase the cars is a little suspect. If it is truly customer racing then why is Cyan Racing the only ones able to get a Lynk and Co car?

Adamo is smart and he is just messing around. He knows how bad is the WTCR BoP, so he is playing his mind games.

Is Target aiming to replace one of the two Italian Hyundai factory teams?

I wouldn't say Target are very tied to any manufacturer, they've gone from Honda to Hyundai already!

No idea, maybe they could replace that second BRC team, or maybe they could use another manufacturer, but that would be too big risk.

Touche!

I guess I have Files' seasons in my head, going from double TCR Germany champ with a Civic to Europe with an i30N... impressive versatility

You are right.
Target raced Seat in 2015 TCR International before switching to Opel for 2016. And when Opel wasn't competitive they switched back to Seat for first two rounds in 2016 TCR Germany when Files raced for them.
After that they get Hondas, and for 2017 TCR Germany they get run Audis parallel to Hondas.
And last year they switched to Hyundai.
Very nice history

Bathurst calling, looking for a full field of 55, that will be a big ask, 30+ visitors around the first weekend in December 2020.
