I'm by the way impressed with the way the Pro7Sat1 group has promoted the GT Masters in Germany. Ads on the programs all day, even an interview with the Stuck brothers during half time of the Schalke game yesterday. Hopefully this will finally bring some decent ratings. If they get one million viewers per race, this is already a great success. DTM for example pulls roughly 1.5 million viewers per race, Formula One 5-6 million. I'll keep my fingers crossed.

Would be more difficult to compare results with other series if ADAC is going to rebalance SRO balanced performance balance. All in all it's already to complicated.

Great first round including a last lap pass for the lead.
Great coverage by Kabel1 as well, extensive post-race coverage with full coverage of the podium and post-race interviews. Very nice... |

I saw a picture of the cars entering the series, and I say wow, what a lineup! You don't see that kind of variety in a racing grid now!

Great to see Alpina back on track for another year. I wonder if they will make a successor to the B6 GT3?

even if the car keep the same road chassis, because of various changes the 2011 spec alpina b6 gt3 could be considered more a new and better developed car than an evolution of the 2009 version.

Maybe it's "thrilling". Thrilling as Brownian motion. Absolutely no sense. I just wanted to watch how good that new Aston is. And I have no idea. It's all about BoP as any other GT3 and nothing more. Just a show, not a sport. I mean I don't like racing where nobody can predict who's going to win basing on machinery comarision. Some cars with high torque engine should be fast at stop-n-go tracks, some cars should be fast at twisty tracks. But with that BoP the sense is ruined. It's not racing, excuse me.

Good race.
Very slow pitstop from the Lambda Ford. Otherwise they might have won the race. Bleekemolen did a great job keeping 4 cars behind him! |

Race 2 started off as a BMW benefit show, but there was a fair bit of poor driving on display. Slippery, bumpy, narrow track with many cars probably to blame, but some silly moves by people that should know better. |

Some of the driving standards in Race 2 were pretty sloppy but hey was still pretty fun.
Maybe its not for purists, but it has a good number of cars teams and makes. With the numbers and mix of amateur and pro drivers it takes over from FIA GT3 for me which has gone down the drain this year. |

If you want to do sprint races in GT3, you go to ADAC GT Masters. If you want to do endurance rces in GT3, you go to Blancpain Endurance Series.

I swear there is the Nissan GTR Gran Turismo creator Kazounori Yamamuchi raced at the Nurburgring 24 competing in this championship; How can this be when it is not a GT3 machine. It is way off the pace from what I have seen.

ADAC GT Masters is GT3 only. The Nürburgring 24 Hours is not part of this championship. Perhaps you're confusing it with VLN.
