I think that's about right! Names out of a hat for all those.

Technically still waiting on Dynamics but if some commenters and the rumour mill are to be believed we're awaiting formal confirmation of a no-show.

Shedden
Plato (supposedly retired)
Edwards (was running in Britcar at the weekend)

The only other names possibly in the running for drives would be support series drivers finding budget late-in-the-day to make a step-up to BTCC a reality.

Purely hypothetical, and of course assuming the TBLs are used, but maybe two out of Shedden, Plato and Edwards as cars 3 & 4 at OneMotorsport? Hamilton possibly the last-confirmed entry on the grid (as has been the case in multiple seasons) in a 5th HARD CUPRA (using the other ex-Moffat TBL?)?

Proctor perhaps? Been quiet recently but has dropped hints about a return after a sabbatical year. One Motorsport?

What would be the possible motive for TOCA pegging one car back? This perennial bleat is always pedalled by disenfranchised players without ANY proof it happens. The base engine doesn’t need to be turbocharged. Toyota offer a 2.0 non turbo in the Corolla which could be used but I think the Supra unit is more likely as people have said.

I can’t find the wording of the rules but I’d imaging it’s like it used to be where any 2.0 litre, 4 cylinder engine from any model from the parent manufacturer can be used.

Not that we’ll ever know for sure anyway.

In which case, Speedworks have played a blinder. Approach Neil Brown and gain all their knowledge from the BMW engine but it just has a different badge on the rocker cover and different boost levels to suit.

But what can they gain from people talking on Tentenths about their alleged withdrawal?
IMO either the situation is rather difficult behind the scenes and there's a lot of uncertainty hence no news and big possibility of them pulling out or they're actually waiting for a Media Day to make some kind of special "presentation" and all the rumours about their problems come from a single, stupid source.
