Crossing my fingers for the Hulk here.
I obviously wish him a full recovery first of all but I hope Perez didn't catch the virus through negligence. We need responsibility to keep the show on the road and he himself does not need to jeopardise his chance of the Racing Point seat next year (though admittedly that is likely gone already). |

Tough luck on Checo, let's hope it's nothing serious. The right precaution is being taken here. And yes, as was mentioned, you do wonder if him feeling dizzy at the Hungarian GP had anything to do with it
The silver lining is we get to see the Hulk back. Once he gets up to speed I expect to see him qualify near the front. Could even finally get his first podium with a bit of luck and what a story that would be |

Maybe he has tested positive for Stroll syndrome ? A debilitating mental trauma caused by the realisation that the boss's lad is not the hopeless slow coach some so called fans wanted him to be ...

That could just be coincidence, but it's always hard to tell with these things, we still don't know all the ins and outs of this disease

Going back to Mexico doesn't sound like the best idea he ever had.....

The beeb mentioned he went home to visit his mother who’d had an accident (mentioned during the live coverage of practice on the beeb).

It’s not like he made a trip on holiday, I can understand why he made that trip. It could happen to anyone unfortunately

Gah, that is a difficult situation. You look like an arse arguing any perspective on it.

He did not fly commercial, rather a private plane/flight. Only with his physio and another of his inner bubble, both who have subsequently come up negative to covid. Perez wasshowing no symptoms despite being positive.

Ok so Perez tested positive again this morning.
Does this mean his 7 day counter resets back to 0? From what I've read, yes, but I haven't found anything official. This means he'd be due another test next Friday. By which time F1 will be in Spain and he should be banned from travelling. Hulk for Spain? |

Spain as a whole has to be dodgy right now. Wouldn’t surprise me totally if they stay put in GB.
The calendar could come apart quickly. |

Have the next GP at Donny or Brands then! Now that would be fun. I could go on, but then who am I kidding?

Earlier this week the ELMS race at Barcelona (scheduled for 29th of August) has been cancelled and replaced by another race at paul Ricard. https://www.endurance-info.com/fr/el...our-un-acte-2/ http://www.dailysportscar.com/2020/0...barcelona.html -- Anyhow, Perez' involvement for next race (after Silverstone II) is in doubt, regardless where it takes place.
