Ride height and spring rates
Ride height and spring rates
I have a Lotus Elan and havejust increased the spring rates all round. Problem is the ride height at the front is too high. I cannot reduce it even with adjustabl espring perches. Should I have fitted shorter springs? The rear is fine. |

Spring length makes absolutely no difference to rate, except for how that rate changes as the last coils go to solid.
Just go buy a shorter spring! |
