Bud Byrnes should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Roland Lutz, 1963 Elva under 2 liter GT?

I have recently acquired a 1963 Elva Courier that was raced in 1963 & 64 in FIA events. I have just a little bit of this car's european history. Does anyone have any hints, clues or directions?

I would contact Roger Dunbar at Elva he might be able to help. I thought Couriers were mostly used for club events rather than international rounds (like Guards Trophy etc.. I dont think FIA events per se existed in those days)

I have been in touch with Roger. My car #1042 is mentioned in is forthcoming book. Roland (Ron) Lutz was the driving force behind the "LeMans" Elva and raced in a variety of races 1963-64. I have scoring sheets from Clermont-Ferrand and the '64 LeMans time trials. What I'm looking to do is flesh out the story on my car starting from what Roger has already done.

is this for HTP FIA papers or solely for your own satisfaction - if its for the papers then so long as you can evidence that your car is the same one as the one in the results you should be okay
if its for your own benefit than clearly you will want more info!
