Pistonbroke should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Prescott hill-climb

I've been informed via the VSCC forum that Prescott will be featured on the ITV programme 'Heart of the Country' on Thursday 13 October 2005. There will no doubt be a vintage emphasis.
Hillclimb and vintage enthusiasts may wish to tune in.

Might it include a short session on tarmac laying plus and, as a bonus, how to put out **************.

No FLoads, but it will include a 10 minute feature on the use of a Telehandler followed by a talk with the subject being " The Importance of Using Your Handbrake When Parked in a Sloping Paddock"

With reference to Ettore Bugatti. The historians in the Bugatti Owners Club might like to note that as early as 1909, Bugatti himself had difficult relations with both de Dietrich and Emil Mathis due to the fact he was more interested in devloping new racing machinery rather than improving established or staid technology. In both cases this lead to him parting ways and eventually establishing the company that made the cars you're preserving.

Bearing this in mind, one wonders whether if Ettore were to visit modern day Prescott; would he be revisiting his past, or mooching around the Goulds, Pilbeams and OMS's with a critical eye?

A mute point considering his demise in 1947 I acknowledge. But isn't the point of preserving his cars a testiment to his genius contribution to the furthering of sporting technology? The genius surely was borne from a refusal to accept the technological staus quo and therefore not allowing modernity at a BOC site is about a big an insult to the spirit of Bugatti as you can get?
