ALANGRUMPY should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Dave Loftus

Ex BMMC SW Chairman Dave Loftus was involved in a motorbike accident last week. He sustained multiple injuries including various broken bones and is currrently in the High Dependency Unit at Southampton General Hospital. I will try and keep everyone informed as to his progress.

Dave mostly marshals at Gurston and Thruxton but has ventured to most circuits in the uk.

I know everyone will wish him a speedy recovery

Alan

Dave has had an operation on his wrists which means he can move his arms a bit better now.
He is said to be in good spirits and waiting to be transfered to Oddstock Hospital in the near future

Dave has been moved to the specialist unit at Odstock Hospital in Salisbury.
The unit specialize in rehabilitation for the injuries that Dave has, these include breaks to his neck, back (2 places), pelvis, both wrists, ribs, etc. He's still in good spirits and understands he'll be there for quite some time.

Blimey Dave, you've been in there a long time mate, I reckon you've fallen in love with one of the Nurses! Seriously though, good luck from all your friends in the Midlands.

Cancelled by the organisers - unsuitable track (obviously designed by Tilke as a no-overtaking layout!!!!!!!!).
