In the photos of the set up at Ipswich, why do so many of the V8SC not have drivers doors fitted?
Is this something to do with being easier to travel? |

yes. if the door is on, it's almost impossible to get in/out of the car when in the transporter.

I found it a little odd that Cauchi covered Ludo's early pit call for CL.
Fear of double stacking with the Jizz? Concern about CL's pace? Seems to me JW got the second rate strategy again..... |

The relationship between Mr Whincup and Mr Cauchi is reportedly not all that rosey, compared to how things were when Mr Dutton was calling the shots.
Based on previous events, there appears to be a distinct lack of faith in Mr Cauchi's strategies, where Mr Whincup has famously second-guessed calls which have placed him in the position of double-stacking under green flag conditions, or needing a splash and dash late in the race. Things that were against team protocol. Having said that, it'd be might bold of me to lay blame with just one individual in the team. Mr Whincup did recently come out, off the back of the Townsville event, reporting that a calamity of backhouse errors needed to be rectified. |
