Along with the father and son team Earnhardts, Kyle Petty will also be in the field during the Rolex 24 Hours of Daytona. Petty will drive a brand-new GT-class Porsche GT3RS fielded by Rodger Hawley's Orbit race team, a long-time entrant in road racing competition. He will be joined in the entry, appropriately wearing No. 43, by Leo Hindery (former president of TCI Cable, Global Crossing and a business partner of Richard Petty), Gian Luigi Buitoni (former president of Ferrari of North America) and Peter Baron.

Cool! Also NASCAR Busch Grand National driver Lyndon Amick was listed to be driving one of the lower category Porsche cars too. This is shaping up to be one of the more interesting Daytona 24 Hour events. I would love to do the 2-3 week Speedweeks stay there someday and I sure would be envious of anyone doing it this year.
