Our next appearance will be here.........
20th - 22nd February 2015 RACE Retro International Historic Motorsport Show, Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire
The most popular show on the calendar Race Retro welcomes back the HSCC to its traditional spot on Speed Street, in Hall 2 stand number D36. The big show, for all Historic Motor Sport fans, covering Race, Rally, Trial, Autoteststs and yes those raucous bikes too. The celebrated marque for this year is Chevron which has its 50th Anniversary, so expect to see plenty of those glorious designs around the exhibition halls. With stalls of memorabilia, an auction presented by Silverstone Auctions, this is the place to meet before loading the car on the trailer to head to your first race meeting of the year. In the Review edition of the HSCC Historic Racing News, you will find details of the members advance ticket discount link.

....................We will be manning the stand for the 3 days for anyone to visit us and grill us on anything you want to know re the Historic FF's. Talking of grilling, we also pop over to the Malt Shovel at Bubbenhall a couple of miles away for a pleasant pub evening. Good ale and steaks. Join us?

Soup dished out to all (including one or two visitors) and probably the best racing you could ever wish for - for the money...

See our vid report especially race 2 at Thruxton where even the on-the-edge-of-your-seat filming didn't do it justice!
Silverstone has happened and next up will be Donington. If you're there call by for a cuppa.

Donington; the top 2 were away with the fairies, the oldest car won with Simon (not his Son! - Yet) Hadfield in charge. Jono Baines had a great podium and boy was he happy! Will Nuthall Brian Morris David Wild James Buckton were there - but not at the end.
Watch the video.

Snett next, ritual sausage burning then 2 races Sunday.
Cricket match at cadwell with tea & cucumber sandwiches and orfully nace cake don't you know....oh and another two races...

Damn! This Snett 300 circuit is good to HFF's! Packed full of action all down the field our two races were a treat to watch and drive.

We had a convoy on the slowing down laps 3 abreast in honour of Rob Fowler (who ran some of our cars) after sad news that he died.

A mixture of excitement and sadness was in the air.

0.004 & 0.006 each race separated the front two.

At Cadwell there seems to be an HFF invasion. Well overbooked - overspill to Classic Racing Cars series, must be the cricket match that attracts.

Cadwell done and dusted - more dust than anything else...Tea Party went well but someone forgot to bring the stumps.

Next up is Brands-always-fabulous-Grand-Prix-circuit.....

Croft, we have a bring-your-own-onions French party on Friday eve and their 40's dance night on Saturday. We will sleep well on Sunday night...

Brands went well - apart from a slow Safety Car Qualifying....1 lap to do it?!

A certain young man called Richard Tarling turned up and showed the even younger men the way, good driving made a great event at a superb venue.

Next, bring a beret, it''s Croft.

It's not often you see 'Croft' and 'beret' in the same sentence!

Looking forward to seeing the HSCC annual visit up this way.

A brilliant social 'do' at Croft. French 'Alloo alloo' night with good food courtesy of the Dix's. a fun evening the next night by the 'Nostalgia'organisers, some of the best racing this year (according to Marcus Pye), a first win in our series by "Mk8" race sponsor James Buckton, James Hadfield had a big off by himself. Cracked a bone in leg. All wish him a good recovery.

Great Youtube coverage by Josh Barratt - worth a watch.

Oulton Park next - another big event with atmosphere.

Oulton, a lot of great racing all down the pack a few 'offs' due to damp and enthusiasm. Josh Has done us a terrific video. Also newsletter is out too.

We now have a DOUBLE event at Brands coming up along with our great grand creations (nearly 50 years on) - the F4 at Mr Palmers Sunday. Should be interesting to see who puts on the better show!!

Brands was rather good, damn good racing with a big result for one person.

We go into the last race at Silverstone with nearly 50 entrants... and we are going to fit them all in.

2 qualis and top & bottom of each quali race each other plus some! A mini Walter Hayes for historics no less.
Come and join us. Room for 20 more!

Mega field of HFF's a few end-of-term Phopa's, loads of racing up & down the field, a LOT of action - edge of seat stuff when it all finally got going. Josh's video should give justice to the excitement we all had and gave the crowds.

Anyone interested in joining us should see our web site and will be welcome at the HSCC stand for more info at Classic Car, Retro and Autosport Shows.
