2012 Cholmondeley Pageant of Power
Greetings fellow wearers of orange overalls. Just had our tickets arrive for this event & the following link takes you to the entry list for bikes, cars et al.
http://www.cpop.co.uk/the-track/cars Once again, the organisers have put together a really interesting weekend & with the military, air & water displays, it should be quite a different weekend for us orange 'uns. OK, so it's not Oulton or Anglesey, but its a different weekend for us. Let's hope it stays dry this year. See you there (and at touring cars as well) |

You wouldn't get an Aston One-77, Lamborghini Aventador etc at Oulton though.. Should be a good weekend be there for Sat/Sun, Friday wasn't up to much last time around
Looks low on numbers assume most are at Anglesey + Legends .. Regarding the weather I think it will be typically Cholmondelish Mike. Has anyone heard anything about Carfest North yet ?! Richyy |

My tickets arrived this morning . . . rather odd, really, as I haven't volunteered for it!

Bring on the weather
Hey Mike,
Looking forward to my second year at CPOP. Something very different from the normal circuit and a great day out as well. Really enjoyed last year, apart from the worst weather I've had to endure in orange, however it did prove that my waterproofs worked. Fun watching all of the military vehicles from our post, building bridges, blowing up the field and getting wet. See you all there. |

not bothering this year. if i'm honest i don't think the event is paying enough attention to the circuit stuff. little variation in vehicles and most get about 4 runs a day. repeat that 3 days and bored marshals is the result. add to that the joke of car parking and camping and it just not any fun.
Anglesey has my services for the weekend where i know i'll have a cracking time |
