Mad... Quite liderally mate...

I am quite certifiably mad - and I thought I would make it 3 posts in the topic for no apparent reason.

In addition, that should boost my total posts during a period of 3 years to 33.

That's 3 posts in a topic, a member for 3 years and 33 posts made in total. And Chris is racing at 3pm in the afternoon - blimey, it's almost as though somebody's writing the script :-)

Schoey, would I be right in saying that we have met you trackside more times than you have posted? It must be a close call

Woodyracing, were your ears burning? Woody (TJ) was dying to meet the other Woody! Never mind. - another time. What are you doing next Saturday?

Lovely day today. The weather was perfect - I was official brake fluid watcher/filler upper. Thanks for a great day out and the Maestro stretched it's legs.

Chris, your mum is lovely! I forgot to get the emabarrassing child stories off her but I will next time

A good day... apart from the result. A great way to get together and chill out after the madness of easter weekend! I am now feeling very tired...

I hope i'm not offending anyone though when I say I prefer the Minis! Sadly i'll not be at the next two Mini meetings Bugger! You got to keep me well briefed on those please!

People have won the lottery more times than I've posted...

Lorna,

People probably have met me more times than I've posted here (it must be a very close call in all honesty!) - but, as those who know me will attest, I probably haven't said any more actual words in person than the number of posts I've made here - 34 in all. I am a man of few words.

Anyway, I keep getting called the 'International Man of Mystery' so there must be something in it! Yeeeeah baby :-) Oh dear, oh dear - something tells me I need a lie-down... where did I put those pills!

... a little later ... do you know, I think I got through the whole day without a derogatory Anne Robinson style comment about the Welsh, how untypically me!

Anyway, thank you everybody for a great day, shame that Chris couldn't coax the Maestro round any further, but I'm sure he'll have better luck with the mini next week.

Looking further up this topic about 33 posts, 3 years, etc. How many laps did Chris do?

Hmm...

I rest my case.

Pete. (this posting lark is getting frequently worrying)

Pete, you're waffling dude!

Enjoyed our chat today... certainly more than 34 words were said by your goodself... you're obviously going mad!

Anyway, a big hello to Mrs Doyle if she's reading!!

At least we had nice weather at Oulton, can't really comment much on the racing though. Apart from to say that it will probably going down as my record for least racing seen whilst at a racetrack. Saw Chris's race and that was it I'll try to get there a bit earlier for the Minis.

what they all pointing at?

Well, it wasn't the result I was hoping for (I was hoping to finish) but at least we gave the car a shakedown. I was expecting problems though, because I haven't really done much work on the car, and it's been laid up for a year previously, so it does need a tweek here and there (the brakes for starters). At least my dizzy cap didn't fall off though

Anyway - thanks all for coming to see me at Oulton Park - the friendly circuit (unless you p1ss us off by missing a drivers' briefing)

I'm going to stick to Mini racing for a little while until I can do plenty of work to the Maestro to make it a little more competitve (i.e lose 200kg of weight)

So - I'm off to post something about the next weekend - Minis at Oulton.. Should be fun..
