Testing! Testing! Is this microphone on?

"Ahem... For your enjoyment, Ladies and Gentlemen, I understand that there will be Formula 1 testing at Silverstone, the er.. Home of the British Grand Prix.

If this information is correct, don't forget to thank me. If however, you get there, and the gates are shut, then I don't know what I was thinking!"

That is all.

We might be able to make the one before leaving for Le Mans! We'll be flying from Montreal (from the GP there) to England right away so it's possible ... we shall see.

I reckon that the June 14th date sounds good. I think that most of the people on these forums will be heading off to either Le Mans or Mondello the following day and it might be nice to get together for a nice relaxed day out before we head our seperate ways for the ferries.

And it's my birthday, so we can all head into Buckingham afterwards, and you can all buy me a drink...

What you say guys ? Book an extra day off work ?

No can do. I just about managed to get the Friday and Monday off for Mondello. My work mate is on holiday and I am leaving the other guy on his own for two days whilst I go to Mondello. I will definitely be going to other test days though. Just not in June!

And one would like to point out now that Tuesday 21st August is both a testing day and little moi's birthday.

But will one be back in Britain by that date?

We will have an early celebration at the Molson Indy. Any reason for a party is a good reason!

Sure thing. August *could* be possible as there's apparently a bit of a dip at work at that time of year, cos everyone's away on holiday, so we're 'encouraged' to take time then. Got the time off for Le Mans and Knockhill - but only cos I told them they were already booked when I was offered the job...

Craig, you let me know a date and then I will book the day off - that will be the best way to do it. You are not bringing the camcorder this time are you?

Assuming no one else has the day off and there is nothing critical going on at work, a week's notice would be the ideal shortest notice but can do shorter depending on the situation. My boss is lovely and the guys in my team are okay about having time off at short notice.

Just remind me to phone in work again and let them listen to the cars going by so they can get jealous. It came out really well on the answer machine last time

Shouldn't that be March?
Just reminded me, I promised I'd print off a copy of the testing calendar for our mule spinner at work. Something else to do tonight!

Nothing on the 24th September then? There's a possibility I could be there getting a ride in the Arrows 3 seater on the 24th September and I was hoping something else would be going on at the same time.
