I was talking to one of the guys at work who lives nearby and could hear the cars, he observed they were noisier than usual. Sandown only has a permit for a handful of "noisy" events per year - which are still a lot quieter than what UK cars run, judging by the ones that I've seen out here. Also the horse racing fraternity would be happy to see them go I understand.

Yep, I couldn't believe it myself when I saw the entry list - he normally races an Imp however that was clearly not unusual enough! (for UK based readers, there are only 3 Imps racing and a few others that see hillclimbs or sprints out here)

I didnt get much of a chance for photos but I cant believe how big the event grew in 12 months, shame the sports sedans couldnt get their act together...safe bet to say they wont be invited back. My god that 911 in U3L Group N was fast...damn. Roddy XJS...Still my fav car
