Whats the go with Singapore?

great coupe, if V8's cant go to them , let them come to you. I think that coz they wanted our race to go to their tracks, shows that V8's are getting more popular each year. now if we can get a race to Watkins Glen or Laguna Seca that would be Epic!!!

I did thanks, but what with the thread chopping and blood letting, it was kinda appropriate to keep the link alive

The point that is key here is that the circuit promoter sought out V8SA to offer them a deal rather than the governing society chasing down that deal

Might suggest a couple of things, that there may be alignment between the core demographic of the main game with the likely target audience in Bali, that they think the event may turn a bob, that the event may increase the brand awareness of Bali in other parts of the world thanks to the global teev package, that perhaps they see V8SA has a solid reputation and a desire and appetite for international growth and that hitching their star to the series isnt likely to disadvantage them....

Depends if you think the glass is half full, half empty, or maybe more accurately, its twice as big as it needs to be

Unless Mr. France allows V8 Supercars to race at the Glen that is. Of course, given that NASCAR might bring the series to North America along with DTM, I think it's a possibility.

Anyway, any suitable track to race at Indonesia?

MV, the Bali circuit isn't built yet, but is supposed to be finished in about two years. Indonesia does have Sentul though, which should certainly be up to standard for hosting the V8s.

Lets see perhaps it could be called the "Imodium 500" or the "Gastrostop 500".

One could just see Larko in the Dick Smith Tech Centre, running through the pitstop strategy, "we will see cars pit for tyres and fuel on lap 30, and the driver will be in on lap 10 for a quick squirt and some electrolytes!"
