Zanardi
Just flicking through the Sky channels, as you do when you are supposed to be working, and came across the Laureus Sports Awards show just as Alex Zanardi was given the 'comeback of the year award'. Nice to see that the whole hall full of sportsmen and women knew just who he was, and boy did he get an ovation. Surely, the most deserving recipient since Lance Armstrong.
Nice one Alex. Rob. |

While not irrelevant in F1, I think it is even more relevant to ChampCar - especially as his comeback was completed during the emotional final laps he completed at Lausitzring. Moved.

funny how his exploits seem all the more relavent now, even his formula one excursion at williams the last time seems as if truthfully he was given a bum deal, he is and always will be one of the greatest
