If they keep that pace, it isn't out of the realm of possibility for the 54 to catch the 5, I don't think.

Edit: I swear I typed that out before it was said on radio or mans.....

I know Della Lana's shunt at the bus stop seems like it was not out of harm's way but he got it going quickly enough for them not to throw a FCY. At its worst for the Cadillacs, they will be caught by the #54. But that requires 4.5+s per lap and assumes no FCY.

Wouldn't it be something for IMSA to come over all debris-shy in the last hour

I'd really like someone with the data to tell me why on earth #23 seems to be unable to catch #37 as they always do quicker lap times when I watch the timing screens. Are they terrible at pit stops or something?

I think that AXR won't really drop the hammer until the #54 gets back on the lead lap, and even that depends on wave arounds and relative pace difference.

And there's a 2:45 sprint race left to go before the finish.

Crap BoP in 2/3 classes, crap spec tires, crap penalties, crap camera direction, and the stream still freezes every 3-4 minutes for about the last 18 hours, can't say I'm too impressed with anything remotely sanctioning body related about this event.
