Canada is a power track with the long straights, but with an efficient car like the Renault, you can get through the back section of the track really quick, and I think that is where they make up the time lost to Ferrari on the straights...

Pantano didn't turn a wheel in the first session and it looks like he's firmly in the garage this time too - anyone know why?

Looks like Kimi found some speed in the McLaren, here's hoping it's got the reliability to last the rest of the weekend.

McLaren are bound to run at least Kimi light in qualifying, and then see how the race pans out.
We saw at Nurburgring that his qualifying pace, didn't turn into anything like the actual race pace, as the train stuck behind will testify. More of the same? |

Not sure.
The Nurburgring was a poor tyre-choice which affected him in the race, rather than running particularly light. |

He proved he had raw speed a good few years ago actually....
I'm sticking to my hopes....a win for Taku this weekend and a win for Button at Silverstone. That'll do nicely thanks! *prepares for dayglo red steamroller on Sunday* Last edited by Knowlesy; 11 Jun 2004 at 21:03. |

sato well done, and lets not forget how strong the Honda team has become this year- once again they are rising up where they have been so many times,
who can really be the ferrari threat? it was mercedes renault Honda it seems as all comers try and none can. Scuderia Schumacher is a force for all time to contend with. |
