As I'm leaving at 4 and getting to the circuit at about 8:30 I was wondering what the traffic is going to be like around the circuit at that time.

Can't say for this weekend Will but last Sunday morning it was horrendous getting in at around 10:00 for the BTCC. THis may not have been helped by Toyota inviting 4500 employees as extra guests for the day!

Normally not too bad for this event, maybe a little queuing but can't say I've ever waited more than a few minutes. Usually straight into the parking areas.

For info - the BBMF Hurricane fly-past scheduled for today has been cancelled - too windy to take off.

Great event, did the weekend there last year in glorious sunshine. So many wonderful cars and super spectating points around the circuit.

Only there for Saturday this year. Took loads of photos which I will post links for in due course. Tried out a couple of new spots for me with reasonable success. Infield seemed rather quiet (result of per car fee for Car Club parking ??). Circuit looks so much better thanks to Kevin and latterly Dr Palmer. Thanks as ever to the marshals for removing assorted vehicles from the gravel from time to time.

Is Marcus Pye on the commentary this weekend? Presumably alongside(or behind!) Ian Titmarsh?

Marcus certainly in attendance, but wasn’t sure if it was him commentating. Sometimes the speaker output is distorted and it’s difficult to tell!
