Indy Road Course Test

Been looking all over. Has anyone seen any info yet on the road course test today at Indy?

The only thing I've found so far.

I agree with Bobby Rahal.

See Robin Millers Racer report http://www.racer.com/video-robin-mil...rticle/310328/
Maybe a good idea to rebuild the month of May

Here's hoping they will use the clockwise roadcourse. The MotoGP configuration which goes off of the oval before Turn 1 would make the main straight look slow.

I'm starting to warm to the idea, but i think they'll be shocked at how few people attend.

Having gone to the 500 this year, i get the impression that alot of the spectators go to the 500 out of tradition (lots of families, students etc) and don't follow the rest of the series. Getting across that there 2 races in May to Joe Public may be difficult and is liable to confuse the simpletons initially. Then you have the out-of-towners who come especially for the 500. They won't come twice in a month.

Circuit layout wise, the F1 configuration sounds as though it could produce interesting racing with the ultra draggy DW12. Pretty uninspiring visually though.

It's certainly better having them in Indianapolis for the month than starting in Brazil.

Big time YAWN!!!!!!

There is a beautiful 4 mile facility at Road America that deserves a race long before this idea flies, but you know that the folks who run this dog and pony show don't have two brain cells to rub together most days, so that ain't gonna fly.
